Here's why I can't help most people who overeat and struggle with food...

and how to tell in under 30 minutes if you're someone I can help, or not.

Here's something that might shock you.
I can't help most people who struggle with food.

Now, that's not something you hear every day is it?
A health practitioner who freely admits they can't help the majority of people who are actively looking for a solution to their problem.

But unfortunately it's the truth.

And so in this video I'd like share a couple things...

Firstly, I'll explain exactly WHY I can't help most people who want to end their battles with with food and eating.
And then, I'm going to show you how you can determine which camp you specifically fall in.
Are you one of those people I can help, or are you someone I can't.

By the end of this video, I guarantee you'll know one way or the other.

And what I'm going to be talking about might come as a bit of a surprise, because you're not going to hear this stuff from other programs or practitioners who are keen to get you're business.

The sad truth is most players out there in the nutrition, diet, fitness and weight loss space will happily take on anyone and everyone as a client or sign them up to their program.
Basically, as long as you have a pulse and a credit card, you'll be good to go and welcomed with open arms.
And you know what, that's they're prerogative.
But as a LM Practitioner, that's not how I work.

You see, because I work 1-to-1 with only 15 people at a time, I need to be absolutely certain that those who DO come on board are going to succeed.
There's simply no joy in working with someone who either isn't ready or isn't suited to the FFBT approach I offer.
That just waste's ever body's time.

OK, now you may have seen me share this diagram before.

So real quick, when it comes to overcoming challenges with food; whether that's overeating, binge eating, emotional eating, stress eating, night-time or weekend overeating; crazy food-focused thinking, food obsession, food anxiety, yo-yo dieting... whatever it is.. what we know is that in order to break free of these habits and patterns you need 3 specific things.

You need the desire to change.
You need the Strategy or the game plan to change.
And you need the capacity to change.

Now, the FFBT approach I use primarily focuses on these 2 things here.

I give you the game plan - okay, so I take you by the hand and walk you step-by-step through the brain training process.
And by the way, if you want to know exactly what that process is, I have a separate training called HTFABD that'll explain everything... and I've posted a link to it down below.

But the FFBT approach isn't just about giving you the game plan.
Because having the strategy is useless unless you also have the capacity and the skills to actually implement it.
And that's why I also give you everything you could possibly need in terms of support, coaching, accountability, resources, tools, mindset shifts, resiliency skills and so on so you can take action, make progress and come out the other side with a competently new and empowering way of relating to food.

So these are the 2 things I focus on in the FFBT program.
Which just leaves this Desire piece... and that's something YOU gotta bring to the table.
That's not something I can provide.
That's not something ANYONE else can provide.

You see, there's a universal principal that holds true for absolutely any area of your life that needs transforming... whether it be your career, your finances, your relationship, your health, your fitness, your eating and so on.

But unfortunately, this principal is completely mis-understood by almost everyone - including most health professionals and practitioners and others who are offering a service or program that claims to help you sort out your eating.

So here it is.

Whenever we're stuck struggling with something, we will only ever be successful in overcoming our challenges, when the costs associated with the problem far outweigh the costs associated with the solution.

I'll say that again.

You'll only ever overcome your challenges with food when the costs and discomfort of the problem far outweigh the costs and discomfort of the solution.

And the moment you make this shift, the moment you decide the true cost of all this food struggling is just way too high, well that's when you reach what we call the Tipping Point.

Now here's the thing.
Everyone I talk to tells me they want nothing more than to step out of the struggle; they say they want to be able to eat like a normal person and stop all this distracting, soul-sucking craziness with food.

But the key distinction between those who are able to break free and those who aren't, is that those who aren't, even though they say they really want it, deep down, they're only really interested in actually doing it, if it's easy and convenient.

And that's exactly why they'll remain stuck and why they'll never truly break out of their vicious cycles with food.

Even though they're in love with the idea of living a life free of the struggle with food, they're not really prepared to do the work required to achieve it.

So, in reality, they haven't reached their Tipping Point.

The fact is, transforming your relationship with your eating and permanently rewiring your brain for food freedom is not easy. Or convenient.

Now, that's not to say the process is complicated. It's not. The FFBT approach is actually very simple.
And if you've watched the HTFABD video training where I take you through the steps involved, you'll see that the entire process is quite straightforward. It's not rocket science.

So yeah, it's simple...But it's not easy.

You see, our eating habits are created and reinforced over years and years of practice.
And in your brain, these habits are simply a bunch of neural pathways that keep refiring.
And rewiring these pathways takes a lot more than just stocking the fridge with healthy food and putting the chocolate bar or the chip packet out of reach.
The fact is, your brain doesn’t want to be rewired. Rewiring takes energy and effort and work.

It takes time.
It takes money (yes, there's a financial cost)
It takes practice.
It takes learning a bunch of new skills
It means dealing with your natural internal resistance to change stuff
It's messy.
It's inconvenient.
It's disruptive.
It will challenge you.
You will make mistakes.
You will feel uncomfortable.
You will feel vulnerable, uncertain and scared.
And you will feel like giving up.

And this is all just in the first week. - Kidding!

These are the costs of breaking free.
These are the costs of doing the work to rewire the circuits and pathways in your brain that are at the root of your struggles.
These are the costs of following a genuine food freedom brain training approach.

So no matter how you look at it, the solution to your struggles with food is going to be well and truly beyond the limits of your comfort zone.

But If you're only willing to focus on (and become paralysed by) all these costs... then I can't help you.

I can only truly help you if you are more willing to focus on and be motivated by what all this food struggling is actually costing you.

And without a doubt, the people who successfully break free from their struggles with food, can make this fundamental perspective shift.

Instead of worrying about the short terms costs and discomfort of the solution, they're way more concerned with the longer term costs of remaining stuck.
They're more concerned with the opportunity cost of not making any progress.
They're more concerned with what it would mean for their physical, mental and emotional health 10 or 20 years down the track.
They're more concerned with what they're currently missing out on, putting off or have given up because of their never ending battles with food.
They're more concerned with the impact it's having on their performance at work and what that would mean for a long and successful career.
They're more concerned with the affect it's having on their partner, their kids and their family
They're more concerned with the amount of energy and focus their wasting on all this craziness and obsession with their eating... energy they're not investing in other more meaningful things
They're more concerned with how it's causing them to hold back, feel isolated, and withdraw from life
They're more concerned with not being their true selves or not being able to share their true gifts and talents to the extent that they'd like.

So this is the stuff YOU should be worried about.
This is the stuff that should scare you.
This is the stuff that should push you to the tipping point.... that point where you say to yourself - enough's enough. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I'm ready to step up and do whatever it takes to get all this eating stuff sorted once and for all.

But if you are more worried about the cost of the solution, the cost of breaking free, well its unlikely you'll ever have the courage to step far enough outside your comfort zone where the path to food freedom actually lies.

You simply can't transform any area of your life by staying tucked up inside your comfort zone.
At some point, to be successful, you gotta make a bold move.
You gotta step up and seek out the the help and support you genuinely need.
And yes, that'll be scary.

But this is the single biggest perspective shift between those who are able to transform their disordered eating habits once and for all... and those who don't.

For those who break free, the cost, the inconvenience and the discomfort of the solution, simply pale into insignificance when compared with the life-sucking toll of remaining stuck.

So if you're still grappling with this (DESIRE) piece of the puzzle...
If you're someone who's more focused on, and frightened off by the costs of the solution - the time involved, the challenges that might come up, the financial investment, the fear of feeling vulnerable, the fear of doing things differently, the fear of failing or not doing it perfectly and so on
If you can't move forward and commit to doing the real work of transforming your relationship with food because you're worried about any or all of these things.... then here's what you need to do.

To help you move past all these fears and worries, I've created a free worksheet and mini training you can download below.
I've designed it to achieve a couple of things.
Firstly, it's going to open you up to the truth of what's really going on here.
And then, it's going to help move you towards your own personal tipping point... because it's only when we cross a tipping point, that we truly open ourselves up to a new way of relating to food.

And the moment you experience that Tipping Point...
As soon as you get to that place where your desire to end the struggle has never been greater,
As soon as you're truly commitment to stop mucking around with diets, meal plans, fads, detoxes, and all the other BS solutions,
As soon as you're willing to stop DIY'ng and to step up and ask for the type of guidance you genuinely need, despite all your fears
well, then that's when we can implement a step-by-step game plan to make freedom with food a reality, and not just a pipe dream

And getting to this critical Tipping Point... YOUR tipping point, well its just a matter of perspective.
It's simply about being willing and curious to look at things a little differently.
It doesn't require anything more than that.

It's about firstly noticing and then challenging all the scary stories in your head that are holding you back.
It's being honest with yourself about what you're frightened of or trying to avoid, by NOT committing to a genuine food freedom solution.
It's being honest with yourself about what staying stuck in your own private food prison is really costing you.
In other words, it's about getting to the truth.

And the thing is, we all have blind spots.
A lot of them come about because our fears, our doubts, and our own limiting stories cause us to look at things in a certain way.
The fact is, your reality with food; the way you relate to food and the habits you have around food; a large chunk of all this is a reflection of the narrative that's going on up here.
And our perspectives and narratives won't change, until we're willing to ask ourselves some tough questions and hold a spotlight up to the truth of what's really happening.
And once we see the bits we've been missing or ignoring, something shifts within us, and then it’s difficult to go back to the old way of viewing things.
As soon as we see the truth, it's really hard to un-see again.
That's the Tipping Point.
And that's the moment we can move forward and make progress like never before.

So go grab that free download below and for goodness sake invest the 30 minutes it takes to fill it in and watch the short video that goes along with it.... and just see where it leads.
Just see what comes up.
Let's see what shifts.

Now, here's a little bit of tough love.
In fact, what I'm about to say will probably offend some of you.
But I'm going to say it anyway, because it's the truth, and it needs to be said.

The fact is, most people who watch this video won't download the worksheet.
And of the very few who DO download it... the vast majority won't invest the time to actually complete it.

And this actually get's to the core of why so many people never make any long term progress with their eating.
They're simply not willing to cross that bridge of fear and do the inner work required to make progress.

So just notice what your mind is saying to you right now about downloading and filling out this worksheet.
Is it saying stuff like...
I'll do it later
I don't have time right now
I don't really need to do that
Worksheets never help anyway
I hate writing stuff out
Completing that would feel weird and awkward
I don't want to think about all that stuff at the moment
I've got better things to do with my time

Are any of these part of the inner dialogue going on in your mind right now?

If so, that's okay.
All of us have some kind of inner resistance when it comes to working on our own challenges.

The real question though, is this?
Are you going to allow all these thoughts and stories prevent you from doing the worksheet?

If so, than this is a BIG part of why you're still struggling with your eating.

If you're not willing to spend 30 minutes on an exercise designed to shift your perspective on something, then guess what?
I can't help you.

And to be perfectly honest, no body else is going to be able to help you either.

When it comes to personal change, the number one, most basic, foundational principal is this thing called willingness.
You gotta be willing to do stuff you haven't done before.... even when your mind's telling you otherwise.
You gotta be willing to challenge your own thinking, stories and beliefs.
You gotta be willing to do things that aren't easy or convenient.

And this is a key part of the entire FFBT process.
Because rewiring your brain for food freedom means that at some point you're going to have to identify, challenge and replace the crappy narratives and thinking stryles in your mind that are keeping you stuck.

So if you currently believe self-reflective exercises that are designed to enhance your self awareness, create more clarity and help shift your perspective are a waste of time... well, we just identified a thought pathway keeping you stuck.
If you believe you can't find 30 minutes in your day to complete a worksheet... guess what... there's another one.
If you believe these exercises, while they might work for others, they just won't work for you... well, there's yet another thought tripping you up.

And that's why at the beginning of this video I said if you watched till the end, you'd know one way or the other if I could help you or not.

So very simply it comes down to this.

Are you at your tipping point yet? Yes or No?
Have you reached that point in your life where you're now ready to step up and commit to a genuine food freedom process?

If so great, schedule a call so we can have a chat and so I can show you what that actually involves.
Or if we've already had a chat, and I've invited you in to the program, then you know what your next step needs to be.

But if on the other hand, you're NOT at this critical tipping point yet, that's ok.

May be you're still weighing up all the options.
Or may be you're still weighing up the costs of breaking free with the costs of remaining stuck... that's normal.

And if that's you, here's the choice you face.

You can either say now's not the right time, or come up with some other excuse.
You can choose to keep searching the web, looking for that magic pill or perfect diet plan.
You can choose to keep trying to figure it all out on your own.
In other words... you can choose to do nothing, remain stuck, and repeat the same old patterns you've done a thousand times over.

OR... you can remain curious the idea that a subtle change in your thinking and perspective might just shift something and open you up to an entirely new way of approaching things.

So if you'd like to explore this second option, your next step is very simple... download and complete the worksheet beneath this video.

And when you've done that, shoot me an email and let me know how it went.
Let me know if something shifted for you.

And as I said, this worksheet isn't something you simply download, read through and file away.
It's something you actually need to DO and experience.

So honestly, this is where the rubber meets the road.

Because if you're not willing to at least do that,
if you're not willing to invest 30 minutes writing out your responses to some hard hitting questions,
if you're not willing to use this workheet as a tool to look at the truth of your situation through a different lens
then I'm sorry, I can't help you break free of your struggles with food.
